Due to a shortage of players, Grandview will not be able to play us in softball this Friday. The game is canceled.

Ste. Gen Boys Golf took 4th overall out of 9 schools in the small school division in the St. Pius Invitational and 8th overall out of 17 schools. Gavin Huck placed 11th overall with a score of 84. Way to go, Green!

Varsity Softball has a good tournament, but falls in the MAAA tourney championship to West County 5-0 finishing in 2nd place. Proud of our Dragons!

Due to the possibility of inclement weather tomorrow, the varsity and JV baseball games scheduled for tomorrow vs. Fredericktown at home have been moved to today. Still a 4:30 start.

In the semifinals of the MAAA Conference Softball Tournament the Dragons pick up an exciting victory over the Park Hill Rebels by a final score of 8-7. The girls will play tomorrow in the championship game at Leon's Field at 6:00 p.m. Come out to support our girls tomorrow!!!

Due to the potential for inclement weather on Thursday, the final day of the MAAA softball tournament will now be played tomorrow (Wednesday). The site and times of the games will be determined after today’s games.

SG R-II Reminders: There is a legislative informational session at 5 p.m. in the SGHS Commons starting at 5 p.m. this evening. Starting this evening, the Board of Education regular meetings begin at 6 p.m.

REMINDER: SG R-II does NOT have a break starting tomorrow. (There was a mistake in the original 22-23 school calendar for Easter Break, where break was listed two weeks late.) We WILL be in class the rest of the week. Also, we have had three snow days, and the last day of school will now be an early dismissal at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, May 24.

The Ste. Gen golfers traveled to Jackson today and took 9th out of 14 teams with a score of 366. Gavin Huck tied for 9th out of 78 golfers with a score of 80.

The conference softball tournament began today and the Softball Dragons defeat Kingston 17-1 in 3 innings. They play Central tomorrow at home in the semi-final at 4:00. Good luck, ladies!

Varsity baseball falls to Festus 13–1. The Dragons will travel to Farmington tomorrow for an MAAA matchup.

Freshman Dragon Paul Taylor beat the school record in the javelin today with a throw of 47.5 meters. Way to go, Paul!



From SG R-II: The district will host a legislative informational session beginning at 5 p.m. in the SGHS Commons next Tuesday, April 18, prior to the Board of Education meeting. We invite all of you to join us & learn about the educational bills that are currently making their way through the state legislature.

Along with the flyer will be the new physical form to use. Please note the the doctor keeps the first 4 pages and page 5 should be given back to the parent and turned into the athletic office. The athletic office will now only receive 1 page of your child’s physical. Thank you!

MSHSAA has adopted a new physical form for athletics and some activities. Students in grades 6-11 will receive a flyer in the mail with physical dates at local health providers for only $15. That $15 will get donated back to the school.
