Varsity Boys Basketball received the #2 seed in the Class 4 District 2 Basketball Tournament. The Dragons will play at 7:00 on March 1st against the winner of Potosi vs. Bayless. Admission will be $6 for adults and students. The tournament is at SGHS.
The Varsity Boys Basketball Dragons dropped a close game this evening to the Kelly Hawks by a final score of 64-65. Keep work hard guys.
Your Lady Dragons Varsity Bball squad battled tonight and never quit, but came up short to a talented Festus team 48- 39!!!

Two updates on games: the Boys Conference Championship game postponed on Sat. night will be picked up where it left off this coming Saturday at Noon at Central. The girls basketball game tomorrow at St. Vincent will be varsity first at 6:00 followed by 2 quarters of JV.
At the MAAA Conference basketball tournament yesterday evening, an SGHS student athlete collapsed during a timeout. The student was then taken to a hospital, and was released last night. SG R-II would like to thank all of the medical personnel in the audience who offered their help—we greatly appreciate the support from our SG family.
As a team today, the girls wrestlers secured a District Plaque with their 2nd place finish at the Class 1 District 1 Tournament. It was a fantastic team effort!!! Congratulations to all of the coaches and athletes!!!!

The Girls Wrestlers were in action today at St. Clair for the Class 1 District 1 Tournament. The following girls were placers and are advancing to the state tourney: Hollyn Zangaro-2nd, Paityn Basler-3rd, Addison Geiler-3rd, Katlynn Lay-3rd, Ragan Picou-4th, Hailey Wheeler-4th!

Varsity Boys get an impressive win over the #3 seed Potosi 67-46 in the semifinals of the MAAA Conference Tournament. They will play tomorrow in the championship against Park Hills Central at 8:30. Good luck, fellas!
The Varsity Girls played hard and played well, but fell to Potosi by a score of 47-35. They fall to 7-10 on the season.
JV Boys Basketball falls to Central in a close match at the North County Tournament. Score was 40-39.
Varsity Girls fall to Farmington by a score of 60-23 in the quarterfinals of the MAAA Tourney. They will play Friday in the 5th place bracket. Good luck, Ladies!
