JV boys basketball opens their season at the Meadow Heights Tournament falling in a nailbiter to Saxony Lutheran 44–42. This was the first of 5 games this week for the JV Dragons.

Congratulations to the Boys Basketball Dragons for winning 3rd Place in the Desoto Fountain City Classic this afternoon. The Dragons picked up the victory over the North County Raiders by a final score of 68-47. Congratulations to the players and coaches!!!
The Boys Basketball Team played hard this evening in a fast paced game but dropped their contest to the Sikeston Bulldogs by a final score of 73-84. The Dragons will be in action again tomorrow in Desoto at 2:30 p.m.
Congratulations to Alli Byington and Sadie Greminger for being selected to the All-Tournament team in the 50th Annual Valle Catholic Girls Basketball Invitational. Both players were unanimously selected.

Varsity Boys Wrestling defeated Park Hills Central by a score of 71–12. Girls varsity also defeated Central by a score of 30–24. Way to go, Dragons!

Thursday, December 15th will be 2 quarters of JV against Kingston. February 14th at St. Vincent will be 2 quarters of JV and Valle Catholic will be varsity only.
Due to several schools in the area having lower numbers this year for girls basketball the following games will be adjusted at the junior varsity level. Thursday, December 8th will be two JV quarters against West County. Monday, Dec. 12th will be two JV quarters against AV.

Hey SGHS! Tomorrow is Picture Retake Day for students in grades 9-12. All seniors needing retakes should be wearing professional attire (button-up dress shirt with a tie or blouse/sweater/dressy top). This does not include flannels or polos. Hey SGHS! On Wednesday, December 14th we will be hosting our Annual FAFSA Presentation & Work Session from 5:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. in the High School Cafeteria. There will be FAFSA Specialists available that evening to help all parents and students work through the process. If you have a child that will be attending college, tech school, or trade school next year please consider attending in order to gain more information and assistance completing the FAFSA.
