DeSoto has announced an early release for tomorrow due to impending weather. Therefore, the HS Girls Basketball game tomorrow is canceled.
In an effort to beat the weather tomorrow, the high school girls basketball games at DeSoto have been moved back to a 3:30 JV start with varsity to follow.

JV Boys play their last game of the season and finish at 15-10 after a 45-27 victory over Perryville. Varsity picks up their 19th win of the season with a 65-28 victory. Way to go, Dragons!
Varsity Girls Basketball falls to Perryville on Senior Night by a score of 55–37. JV played their last game of the season and got the win by score of 25–19. Varsity starts districts on Saturday at Noon at home. Go Dragons!
The JV and Varsity Boys Basketball games at Perryville this coming Thursday have been moved to tomorrow the 21st.
Congrats to Ryan Schmelzle who takes home 5th place at the 285 weight class at the Class 2 State Championships!
Congrats to Ethan Ogden for finishing in sixth place at the Class 2 State Wrestling Championships in the 170 weight class! Top six are all-state!
A big congrats to Gavin Gross for finishing in third place at the State Championships in Class 2, 132 weight class! Ethan Ogden and Ryan Schmelzle he are both wrestling today and we will know their state places soon.
Varsity Boys Basketball falls in a close one to a very good Kelly Hawks team by a score of 49-47. The Dragons are 18-7 on the season.
JV Boys Basketball defeated Kelly by a score of 47–36. They will play their last game next week on Thursday at Perryville. Way to go, JV!
At the Girls State Wrestling Championships Izzy Basler lost her first match, but bounced back with a nice win soon afterward. She’ll wrestle again tomorrow.
Day 1 of the Wrestling State Championships is in the books for the boys. They finish the day currently in 4th place as a team with 8 of the 12 boys left wrestling tomorrow. Good luck, Dragons!

High school Girls Basketball is canceled for this evening. It will not be rescheduled.
In an exciting last minute of play, Varsity Girls basketball defeats St. Vincent by a score of 43-42. Excellent way to play ladies.
HS Girls Basketball tonight at home vs. St. Vincent will be varsity only. Start time is 6:00.
