Varsity Girls Softball starts the season at home with a victory over Steelville by a score of 10–0 in 5 innings. They play another game in a couple of hours vs. East Carter, also at Leon’s. Go Dragons!
Varsity Baseball scheduled for today is cancelled. We are looking into playing two games tomorrow if possible. More details to come.

After defeating Farmington last week in overtime the Varsity Scholar team defeated Farmington again (270-260). The team then defeated Bismarck (440-50) and Potosi (390-80). The JV Squad wraps up their season with a 15-1 record after sweeping Farmington and Bismarck tonight.
The baseball jamboree at home tomorrow is moved up to a 3:30 start to get sunshine and warmer temperatures.
Varsity Scholar Bowl defeated power house Farmington in sudden death overtime (270-260), North County (380-230), and Park Hills Central (430-120). The JV squad defeated Farmington and North County, but lost their 1st match of the season & high school career to Park Hills Central.

The short handed Varsity Scholar Bowl team defeated Valle (460-0); then defeated Potosi (370-170); then defeated undefeated North County (370-210). The undefeated JV squad swept Valle, Potosi, and North County. Way to go!!!
The Varsity Boys see their season come to an end in the district semi-final to Potosi by a score of 44-36. The Dragons finish their tremendous season at 19-8, which is the second highest number of wins in school history. Thanks for the fun season, fellas!

DeSoto has announced an early release for tomorrow due to impending weather. Therefore, the HS Girls Basketball game tomorrow is canceled.
In an effort to beat the weather tomorrow, the high school girls basketball games at DeSoto have been moved back to a 3:30 JV start with varsity to follow.

JV Boys play their last game of the season and finish at 15-10 after a 45-27 victory over Perryville. Varsity picks up their 19th win of the season with a 65-28 victory. Way to go, Dragons!
