Blayre Bauman and Claire Geisler both received Honorable Mention for their artwork, which was entered in the U.S. Courts 3rd Annual Bill of Right Day Event and Contest.
This contest is open to all students in grades 5-12 within the Seventh and Eighth Circuits – Arkansas, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, North Dakota, South Dakota, and Wisconsin.
Students had to answer the following questions with their artwork:
Why is the Bill of Rights an important part of our democracy?
What part of the Bill of Rights is most important to you and why?
How do the protections provided by the Bill of Rights impact your everyday life?
Each student will receive a $50 Amazon gift card for their hard work!
