SG Family: A bus was in an accident this morning on Highway 32. All students and staff are safe. One elementary student was on the bus. The student and bus driver are unharmed, and district healthcare personnel stayed with the student until the family arrived. Bus-related traffic accidents are always scary, but it is a great relief to everyone that no one was injured. Thank you for your time this morning.

Our grade level Penny Wars raised $2,391 for the Polar Plunge. Huge shoutout to Mrs. Basler and her Community Service Dragon Group, our 6th grade class who carried the majority of this fundraiser, and First State Community Bank for working after hours twice this week. They were so kind and patient! SGMS was able to raise a total $5059.85 to support our Special Olympics athletes. Our kids, families, and communities all rock! #sgfamily #staywarmplungers
