Please Note: Overall, bus routes may run 10-15 minutes later, but specific pick-up times will vary for the first few weeks. If your child rides the bus, please have your child at the bus stop at your regular pick-up time until routes have settled into a routine.
Reminder: All SGMS AMI and Group B students can pick up their Chromebooks tomorrow (Friday) by using the rear drive near the New Middle School Gym from 9am-noon. Contact the office with any questions.

Reminder: Ste. Genevieve Middle School Cheer try-outs for 7th and 8th graders will be on Aug. 24, 25, and 26, from 3:30 - 5 p.m. in the Old Middle school Gym. Students must have a physical to attend.
ALL student schedules can be accessed on Powerschool. Schedule changes can be requested through Thursday (8/20) at noon by emailing Dr. Mercer or Mrs. Huffman. Chromebook check out for Group B & all AMI students is 8/19 from 1-4pm, 8/21 from 9-12 near the New Middle School Gym.

6th grade orientation is this Thursday, 9-11:30 or 12:30-3. If unsure of morning/afternoon assignment, contact MS office. Students can bring Chromebook insurance form and green info sheet. Students need a face covering and will be dropped off and picked up outside SGMS New Gym.

The mandatory MSHSAA Dead Period for SG R-II begins this Saturday, August 1, 2020, and runs through August 9, 2020. During this 9-day period, students cannot be on campus, use school's equipment, hold fundraisers, etc., and should avoid contact with coaches if at all possible. Thank you!
SG R-II is accepting homemade cloth mask donations in child, youth and adult sizes for use during the 2020-2021 school year. For those who would like to provide mask donations, please drop off cloth masks to the District Office at 375 N. Also, parents and guardians must complete, sign and return the waiver linked below before their student can participate. Students can turn this waiver into their coach or sponsor the first day of participation. If families do not have access to a printer, coaches and sponsors will have copies of the waiver during the first day of participation, and parents and guardians can complete the form then.

For Incoming 8th & 12th Graders:
The Ste. Genevieve County Health Department is hosting a Drive-Thru School Clinic for 8th and 12th grade immunizations on July 21, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the Health Department's parking lot. If you have not already registered and your student need immunizations, please call the Ste. Genevieve County Health Department at (573) 883-7411 to make an appointment.
REMINDER: For student athletes participating in summer activities, please remember that parents should screen their athlete daily before practice for symptoms of COVID-19. The screening questions are included in the SG R-II Return to Activities Guidelines linked below. Also, the temperature threshold for a fever has been updated to 99.0 degrees Fahrenheit. See the screening process in the guidelines below:
