The Boys District Wrestling Tournament will be at Sullivan High School this coming February. The Girls District Tournament will be at Union High School.
SG R-II Reminder: Tomorrow, Wednesday, Nov. 22, is an Early Dismissal Day for students at 1 p.m. for Thanksgiving Break. Classes will resume on Monday, Nov. 27. Thank you, and have a great break!
The District Girls Basketball Tournament will be hosted by Park Hills Central this year. The District Boys Basketball Tournament will be hosted by Ste. Genevieve.

On a beautiful morning in Columbia at the Class 3 State Cross Country Meet, Hollyn Zangaro earned All-State Honors with her 21st place finish. Congratulations to Hollyn, Laurie, & Kayden who all represented SGHS well today!

The Dragons win a nailbiter in the district semi-finals over the Dexter Bearcats by final score of 29–28! The Dragons will travel to Park Hills Central next Friday to play for the district championship! Way to go, Dragons!

Congratulations to the cross country team that competed well this morning at the district meet! The girls team finished 5th overall and the following girls earned All-District Honors & qualified for state Hollyn Zangaro-6th, Kayden Huck-25th, Laurie Parker-27th. Great job to all!

The Varsity Dragons got it done, in the rain, the first week of District playoffs. They beat the Fredericktown Blackcats 48-6 advancing to the semi-finals next Friday at Dexter. Way to go, Dragons!

Huge shout out to the following SGMS Band students that auditioned for East-Central All District Junior High Honors Band last night at Hillsboro High School! Ashton Damm, Wyatt Schmelzle, and Henry Hadel auditioned with about 427 of the top instrumentalists from surrounding area schools. We are SO proud of the hard work they put in to prepare for their audition!
