Varsity softball battles the wind today and split a double-header by dropping the first game to Doniphan by the score of 4–2, and then winning the second game against Naylor 6–4. Great job, ladies!
A few announcements about sports. The JV softball games today have been canceled. We are working on a new date. Baseball vs. Orchard Farm today has been canceled and will not be rescheduled. Baseball on April 7th vs. Sikeston will be a noon start for varsity followed by JV.
Individual track placers continued: Hollyn Zangaro-3rd (3200), 4x400-1st, Cecilia Mooney-2nd (LJ), Alissa Grass-1st (Jav), & Paul Taylor-3rd (Shot). Way to go!!!!
Congratulations to the Girls Track Team for their 1st Place Team Finish at the SGHS Old Settlement Invite. Individual placers for boys & girls included: 4x800-1st, Kayden Huck-2nd (100h), & 1st (300h), Kale Clements-1st (800), Savannah Jerman-3rd (200).
Varsity Softball earns a blowout win over Leopold 19-3. They improve to 5-3 on the season with their 5th win in a row!
Varsity baseball loses a heartbreaker in 8 innings by a score of 4-3 to Arcadia Valley.
Varsity Golf finished 3rd of 15 teams at the North County Tourney. The Dragons had a combined score of 337. Gavin Huck shot a 77, Aiden Boyer shot an 86, Carter Burr and Jeremiah Kunz shot 94 in best ball format, and Jayden Rhinehart and Braden Huck shot 80 in a scramble. WTG!

In order to try to beat the weather, we have moved the SGHS Old Settlement Varsity Track and Field Meet on Friday the 31st to Thursday, March 30th, one day earlier. Field events will begin at 4:00 with running events at 4:15.

Varsity baseball falls to the St. Louis Patriots by a score of 5–2. The Dragons will travel and play Jackson on Wednesday.
Varsity baseball drops another close one. This time to Redbud, Illinois by a score of 5–3.
Varsity baseball is canceled for today. We are working on a make up date with Malden. We have added a varsity and JV baseball contest tomorrow the 25th at home with varsity starting at 10:30 and JV to follow. We will play Redbud, Illinois.
The varsity softball game at home today versus Bismarck is canceled. The game at Bismarck on April 3rd will now be a doubleheader.
Varsity Golf: Ste. Gen 1st place with 171, St. Vincent 2nd with 189, Perryville third with 216. Gavin Huck & Aiden Boyer tied for first medalist with a 39. Gavin took first overall with a scorecard playoff. JV: Perryville 1st - 223, Ste. Gen 2nd - 233, St. Vincent 3rd - 246.
