SG Varsity Football improves to 6-3 on the season with a 35-0 victory over the Kelly Hawks. The Dragons will host the first round of playoffs this coming Friday at 7:00. Way to go, Green!

The Volleyball Dragons played an outstanding game against the Park Hills Central Rebels in the Class 3, District 2 semi-finals and came up just short in 5 sets. The scores were 19-25, 28-26, 25-23, 17-25, 12-15. Thank you girls for giving us an exciting game this evening!
The Volleyball Dragons pick up a victory this evening over the Herculaneum Blackcats by scores of 25-8, 25-10, & 25-17. The ladies will play again Thursday evening in the Class 3, District 2 semi-final. Way to go ladies!
The Dragons pick up a victory over Jefferson by a final score of 49-7. Congratulations to the Sophomores for winning Float Building, Jack Farlow for being crowned Homecoming King, & Hope Schmelzle who was crowned as the Homecoming Queen. It was a great evening to be a Dragon!
Congratulations to the Senior Class of 2024 for picking up the Powderpuff Football victory this evening over the Juniors by a final score of 12-6! We look forward to seeing many of you tomorrow for the parade at 5:00 p.m. and the football game at 7:00 p.m.



SG R-II: The original plan of having our Homecoming Parade at 5 p.m. Friday is still in place. If we need to make a change due to weather, we will send an update, but as of now, we look forward to seeing everyone tomorrow afternoon!
The Volleyball Dragons finish 6th out of 12 teams in the MAAA Conference Tournament. They fell in the championship of the silver bracket 18-25, 21-25 to Fredericktown. Next up, districts!
In the MAAA Silver Bracket semifinal the Dragons defeated Arcadia Valley in 3 sets to advance to the silver bracket championship later this evening. Scores were 22-25, 25–21, and 15–11. Way to go, ladies!
Varsity volleyball won against Kingston, but lost against Potosi. That means middle school football will play tomorrow at home at 5:00, Volleyball will play tomorrow, and Spirit Night will be on Thursday at 6:00. It's official.
The Volleyball Dragons drop their second game this evening to the Potosi Trojans in straight sets by final scores of 22-25 and 18-25. The Dragons will play again tomorrow evening at Fredericktown.
In the first volleyball game for the Dragons in the MAAA Tournament, the ladies pick up a victory over the Kingston Cougars in straight sets by a final scores of 25-9 & 25-9. The girls play against Potosi in about 20 minutes. Good luck ladies!
Admission to get into the conference volleyball tournament this week is $4 for adults and $2 for students. All matches tonight will be streamed on mshsaa.tv and there will be a separate stream for each match. Good luck, Dragons!
JV Football falls to Valle 36-22.
Varsity Vball received the #6 seed for the MAAA Conf. Tourney beginning tomorrow. They will travel to Potosi to play the #3 seed Potosi and the #11 seed Kingston. Games are at 6:00 and 7:00. Tuesday's results will determine if they play Wednesday or Thursday. Good luck, Dragons!
The SG Girls Golfers had a great day at districts! Karlie Basler, 86, tied for 3rd (All District) and Eleanor McKlin, 93, 10th (All-District). Both are going to State! The team finished 6th out of 11 complete teams. Way to go, Dragons!
A couple of varsity scores from the weekend. The Dragon's football team fell to Valle 31–0 and the varsity volleyball team traveled to Perryville on Saturday for a tournament going 2-1-1 losing to Fredericktown, tying Scott City, and getting wins over Seckman and Clearwater.
Congratulations to the Girls XC Team for their 8th place finish in the Potosi Invitational and their 5th place finish in the MAAA meet yesterday. Hollyn Zangaro medaled (5th) in the Potosi Meet and earned All-Conference honors with her 3rd place finish in the MAAA. Way to go!
