Susie is back again! Thank you to our Ste. Genevieve National Park Service for lending a uniform of a National Park Ranger! Students are able to check their email to review information about the MANY different careers and different internships within the National Park Service.
7th grade students will start the enrollment process for next year during History Class this week. Please ask them to share the Planning Guide with you. We will end the process in ELA classes on 3/21 or 3/22 w/ entering elective class choices in Google Classroom and PowerSchool.

A group of our SGMS students were treated to a funny but meaningful chat with Missouri Teacher of the Year, Greg Kester this morning. Greg helped our students think about the attributes of good teachers and the various ways students can recognize and support their teachers.

SGMS Band students participated in the Mineral Area Middle School Band Festival on Thursday, Feb. 22. Students performed on stage at Farmington’s Centene Center and then participated in an educational clinic. Afterwards, SGMS band traveled to the Bonne Terre Family Fun Center to celebrate.
SGMS Band is an elective course offered to any 6th, 7th, or 8th grade student. For more information contact Mrs. Lindsey Elders at lelders@sgdragons.org.
Attention parents/guardians: SGMS doesn't often send home much in the way of paper; we are sending home information and permission slips for our grade level field trips today. Please ask your SGMS student for these items. The permission slips are due back signed by this Friday. These trips are a fun and wonderful experience for our students and staff. #sgfamily
