Attention parents/guardians: SGMS doesn't often send home much in the way of paper; we are sending home information and permission slips for our grade level field trips today. Please ask your SGMS student for these items. The permission slips are due back signed by this Friday. These trips are a fun and wonderful experience for our students and staff. #sgfamily

Our local spelling bee winners competed in the Conference Spelling Bee last night. After 74 rounds (many of those with only two contenders left), and the proctor running out of words twice, SGMS's very own Reese Wibbenmeyer tied for first. These top two finishers will go on to compete at the next level of the spelling bee in the upcoming weeks. Congratulations to all three of our SGMS contestants and a special congratulations to Reese! We are proud of your perseverance and your phenomenal spelling abilities! Good luck! #sgmsrocks #sgexcellence
