8th grade volleyball takes a bit to wake up but make it a tough match, ending in a loss to AV: 14-25, 20-25. Girls will play immediately for 3rd against Farmington.

7th grade volleyball has a great season coming out 1st in Conference regular season and 2nd in the Conference Tournament with a tough loss to Farmington: 21-25, 19-25. Great season girls!

7th grade volleyball wins in the semifinals against AV: 27-29, 25-20, 15-1. They will play at 7:00pm this evening in the championship game of the Conference Tourn. Good luck girls!
SGMS, alongside Ste. Genevieve County, will recognize next week (Oct 27-Oct 31) as Red Ribbon Week. SGMS utilizes lessons against destructive decisions to reinforce the mission and ideas behind Red Ribbon Week. As a reminder of the week, students are also encouraged to participate in spirit days for Red Ribbon Week. We will also post helpful facts and links for parents and community members throughout the week. All community members are encouraged to wear red on Wednesday. One addition to the flyer is that our students will be allowed to wear Halloween costumes on Oct. 31. Students will be given some school appropriate guidelines related to costumes.
