SG Campus: Please do not park in front of the yellow lines painted on the curbs on Washington Street near the entrance to the high school. The purpose of these yellow lines is to prevent cars from parking in these spaces so our crossing guard is able to see for students to cross safely. Thank you!
SG R-II: We want to share a reminder that our bus routes will take a few weeks to settle into a routine. We ask that families have their children at the bus stop 10 minutes prior to the pick-up time for the first few weeks. As all of our families and bus drivers become accustomed to the new routine, the routes will adjust to the posted times.

SG Campus Water Update: A Boil Water Advisory has been lifted for the SG Campus. We are taking all of the necessary steps, and our facilities will be ready for the start of school on Monday! We are excited for the students to return from summer break next week! Have a great rest of your weekend!

SGMS Fall Sports Practice Info: SGMS practice and/or tryouts begin the first day of school (8/21)
Students must have a current physical turned in to their coach to begin practice.
Volleyball: Practice in the New Gym after school until 5pm. Make sure to bring tennis shoes, athletic clothes, and knee pads.
Football: Report to the Old Gym. Parent pick up at 5pm in front of MS. Make sure to bring tennis shoes and cleats.
Cross Country: Meet in the wrestling room after school until 5pm.

Tentative student schedules can now be viewed on Powerschool. The schedule change process (if needed) will go through advisories after school begins.
Completed district forms on paper: free/reduced (online option also), dental, Chromebook insurance and money, lunch money, etc. will need to be sent with your
student at orientation, dropped off by you, or turned in the first day of school.
SGMS fall practices begin the first day of school (details in the following post).
Drop off for 6th Grade Orientation this Thursday is by the New Gym. Pick up is in front of the Middle School.
The Emeralds dance team is hosting an online SG apparel fundraiser to help the team attend multiple competitions & purchase a new costume for competition. Powerschool Registration Form details: Please update your student's registration forms online by logging into your Parent Powerschool account: https://ps.stegen.k12.mo.us/public/
Log in, Click on Forms, Fill out/update the #23-24 School Year Forms (3 forms). Do not utilize the new student forms at the top. Also, only incoming 6th graders need to attend an in-person orientation on August 10th. Thank you!
Quick Reminders for the upcoming weeks for SGMS:
**Please make sure you have completed the online registration updates (forms) through Powerschool Parent login asap. These are due this Friday; details came out in the July mailer. (I will post these details separately as well)
**Student schedules will be opened and accessible in Powerschool starting next Monday (8/7). Details concerning schedule changes will be communicated then.
**6th Grade Orientation details came in the summer mailer a few weeks ago. This will take place 8/10, 8:30am-12:30pm.
**All students have the opportunity to walk their schedule and familiarize themself with the building any day 8am-3pm, starting next Friday. If you'd like to make sure someone is available to help, please call our office 883-4500 x2
REMINDER: Parents & guardians are invited to visit Hidden in Plain View on Wednesday, Aug. 2, from 3 - 6 p.m. at the Progress Sports Complex. This is an interactive, educational display to help families spot warning signs & get tips for talking with kids about the dangers of alcohol & drug use. *This event is for adults only.*
